Why a knit club?
Beginning of 2023, with the help of my mother, I knit my first hat. It was not my best work and way too big, but it was the beginning of a new era for me. I turned to the internet for more inspiration, learned how to crochet and was quickly sucked into the beautiful, versatile world of yarn crafts. But it was all online - my only knitting friend was my mom and I knew no one else, who knit or crocheted.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2026: knitting and crochet has become much more popular. I’ve seen more and more people crafting in public spaces over the past three years and have even made some friends with the same crafty hobbies. I wanted to connect with more knitters and crocheters in my area, but I could not find a club or community, that was free to join and solely intended to give crafters a space to connect!
So I decided to start this knit club! It is a space for knitters and crocheters to come and work on their projects, enjoy a delicious beverage and chat with likeminded people.

Knit club currently takes place weekly! We meet at 18:00 every monday at [not yet determined] in the centre of Palma! You can see the location on the map. We plan to be there around 2 hours, but you can join a little later or leave a little earlier depending on your schedule. No worries!

Anyone, who knows the basics of knitting or crochet, can join. All levels - beginner, intermediate or advanced are welcome.
Knit club is a social meetup, not a class. For those, who want to start knitting or crochet, but still need to learn the basics, there will be workshops coming soon! There you will learn the necessary skills to knit or crochet on your own and join the club!

Since attending this club is free of charge, there are no materials included. Please bring your own yarn and materials if you are starting a new project or just bring your current wip!

There is no fee for attending the club itself. However, because the cafe is so graciously letting us use the space, we ask everyone to order at least one drink from the cafe while we are there!
